Frequently Asked Questions
Orders
Below are some of are common questions about orders
In one to three weeks following the end of the drop. It depends on order volume and my health. Some months, I make well over one hundred pieces, all of which are made to order.
Regarding my health, I do a lot to take care of myself. However, I've been through a lot. There are times I need more rest to recover from usual work and life stress.
My orders open on the day of the full moon at 9 PM EST. There are timers all around the site that are set up to display your local time.
Orders remain open for the next five days. The timer will reset to the time remaining in the order window once orders open. I close them at midnight on the 5th full day after orders open.
Work on all pieces begins the next day. I am extremely unresponsive to emails during this window. If you'd like to make a change to your order (i.e. size, width, length) please do so within a few days of my orders closing. Otherwise you'll likely have top wait until I get everyone's order out.
Some pieces come and go for a variety of reasons. If there's a ever a specific piece you want, message me and I'll see if its possible to include it in a future drop.
I do not accept orders outside of the drop window at this time

No, not every piece will be released more than once.
My brass pieces will. This is normal and goes away if you continue to wear the piece of jewelry.
My steel pieces may turn your skin brown. Certain people (Like me) have reactive skin oils that interact with the steel and produce a "browning" on the wearers skin. Just take the piece off at night and try not to wear it while showering/ getting wet.
If your skin turns red, becomes itchy. or just generally looks angry after you've been wearing a piece of mine, please stop wearing it. There's a good chance you're allergic to something in the metal. Reach out to me and head to the doctor.
Yes. Whether your piece is brass or steel, the exterior is oxidized. Neither brass nor steel is naturally black.
We beat the heck out of our rings even when we're careful. The more we wear our rings, and the more other objects come into contact with the surface of our rings wearing our rings, the faster this finish is going to come off.
The highest ridges are the first to become silver again. Continue to wear the ring a lot and eventually all the black will be removed.
How fast does this happen?
Some other customers and myself have pieces that are years old and that still look brand new.
A friend of mine that's a mechanic wore his ring to work everyday. A lot of the finish was worn off on the side of the ring that came into contact with his hand tools.
100 percent, yes. There's an option every drop to add refinishing services to your cart. You'll have to mail the piece back to me, of course. I recommend sending me a message first if you want me to refinish a piece.
