When used today to reference jewelry, it means delicate, small, and tasteful. Most often bijoux jewelry contains gemstones or diamonds. In many cases, a fine detail is evident in the piece, even from a distance.
I think of bijoux jewelry as having a similar effect to the cathedrals built in the Gothic period. From a distance they pull you in, making you want to explore their elaborate detail further.
Upon closer examination, you find yourself all the more entranced by the skill of those who crafted the work of art.

Ring Design
I design my rings using a hammer, anvil, and bench grinder. Using basic geometry, texturing hammers, and a variety of other tools enables my process to truly come to life.
